During the month of December 2020, the youth from three different parts of Argentina namely Córdoba, La Plata and Iguazú, distributed food to almost 1,500 needy individuals. Due to the current pandemic situation, severe restrictions were followed across the country and some groups had to stall the service activities temporarily. However, the groups which were able to sustain the service activities, continued to provide food to the destitute.

 

La Plata – The youth distributed weekly packages of food which contained rice, noodles, tomato sauce, green peas, sugar, lentils, tea, milk, cookies, fruits and hygiene items. In addition to this, each member of the youth group prepared sweets as a special Christmas treat along with the other items that were distributed. Around 1,000 disadvantaged people were served in this way.

 

Córdoba – The youth distributed hot meals to the homeless people in their vicinity. This service continued every weekend and approximately 200 meals were distributed.

 

Iguazú – The youth served hot meals in needy neighbourhoods, and 250 people were benefited with nutritious and wholesome meals.
