Volunteers from Heart of Love Foundation in collaboration with Sunshine Welfare Action Mission, Australia are continuing to conduct ‘Self Confidence and Life Skills’ Classes for children and youth once a week in a community centre called Minnawarra House. Owing to school holidays this month, there were only two classes held. This month, 30 children attended both classes and the themes for the lessons were teamwork and honesty.

Local volunteers and health professionals from Health in Kind held their monthly Free Medical Screening session at CARAD (Coalition for Asylum Seekers, Refugees and Detainees). 20 patients were seen by doctors, dentists, relaxation therapists and a physiotherapist. Some dental students were also present and they provided dental health education. Lovely vegetarian food was provided also. The sessions were thoroughly enjoyed by all who were present.
