Last month marked a milestone of providing just over 28,000 meals across different four different states in Australia since the start of the service programs! This is a combination of programs ranging from daily school breakfast program, after school meals, weekly school lunches, weekly meals program for the homeless and the disadvantaged. 

 

Along with these Sociocare activities, regular healthcare activities happen across the four states along with doctors from Australia partnering with Sai Prema Foundation in Fiji for the Fiji outreach program. 

 

The following are experiences shared by volunteers:

“I have been involved with the Heart of Love Foundation Australia for the past three years and I can see significant changes in the volunteers, the people in the caravan parks feeding programs and participants in the Mother and Child programs. Elders and youths are working together harmoniously to do the service at all times. Great effort is being taken to sustain and move forward.

 

Caravan Park residents are missing their loved ones and homes most of the times. Our Heart of Love volunteers are so kind and generous to help these people by providing some of their needs. At the same time we are training them to serve the community with us.

 

Tooradin Caravan Park is another expansion of our service towards the community. Now the manager’s wife has come forward to serve the people with our team. This way we can help each other and create a balance in our community!”
