Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Medical Centre

The Sai Prema Foundation, Fiji’s Medicare mission has expanded itself into a new dimension through the establishment of a free Medical Centre in Suva; to serve the underprivileged and needy members of the country with particular emphasis on women’s and children’s health, as well as a focus on diabetes.
Chairman and Founding Trustee of Sai Prema Foundation, Mr. Mahendra Tappoo officially opened the newly built Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Medical Centre in Nasese, Suva with Prime Minister of Fiji, Hon. Voreqe Bainimarama.
Mr. Tappoo stipulated that in association with the Sai Sanjeevani Hospital in India, this would be the region’s first specialised heart care facility. The long-term project of setting up the specialised hospital was the biggest project yet of the Foundation’s multiple initiatives to serve underprivileged communities.
Prime Minister Hon. Bainimarama acknowledged the Foundation for their initiative towards their fellow Fijians by saying “Sai Prema Foundation is not only limited to this new medical centre, your charitable work throughout the country has already touched the lives of thousands of people.”
A “temple of healing” – the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Medical Centre, Suva, Fiji has opened its doors to the public in conjunction with the Ministry of Health with its vision of providing accessible quality health care to the general public.
