Youth Empowerment Session “YES WE CAN” with Brother Sumeet Tappoo
What was initiated by dear brother Sumeet Tappoo, and blessed by dearest Bhagawan, turned out to be an experience of a lifetime!
The 15 “chosen” Youth of the Sai Prema Foundation in Fiji were aforded absolute bliss at the first ever Youth retreat entitled “YES WE CAN” on Sunday, July 23, 2017 in Pacific Harbour.
Conducted by dear mentor, Brother Sumeet, the session was perhaps a life changing "paradigm shift" for all the youth as Brother Sumeet, in great detail, explained about Swami's subtle form, His mission in Fiji, His expectations as well as everyone’s role in His mission!
The day started off by viewing of some brilliant videos from the Sai Vrinda website titled “Sookshma Sathya Sai”, “Sai Annapoorna Breakfast Seva Program” and “Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital, Naya Raipur”. In addition, there was a viewing of an excerpt video of Brother Sumeet’s speech at the World Youth Conference 2016 in Muddenahalli where he shared the dream sequence in 2005 when Swami showed him This Divine Masterplan that is now unfolding. These videos showed the magnitude of work happening around the world and made the Youth realise just how blessed they are to be part of this Divine Mission.
What followed was a wonderful meditation session led by dear Brother Sumeet which left everyone teary-eyed as this session took everyone to a whole different level of “anandam” where they experienced Swami’s Divine Love in their own beautiful way!
Next was a very powerful “Self-empowering Life Skills and Tools for Self-growth” session which was coupled with practical spiritual lessons. This put a deep emphasis on the need and importance of gratitude in everyone’s lives, especially towards the things that are taken for granted in daily life. Needless to say, this exercise gave everyone some much needed food for thought.
Overall, the YES Session was a much-needed recharge session for the Youth of Sai Prema Foundation. Everyone had only gratitude towards dear Loving Swami for confirming and reassuring them of His omnipresence, by way of leaving His footprint marks on His cushion at the altar, together with making His omnipresence felt to one and all throughout the day. Sincere gratitude to dear Brother Sumeet as well, for taking his invaluable time to help guide everyone’s personal development in this Mission!
