A Word of Encouragement Goes a Long Way

April 2, 2018

Annapoorna met Mr. Sudipto Sen Gupta and Mr. Sriram Kumar from Fanuc India Private Limited. The company has been supporting Annapoorna's social cause to alleviate child hunger and serving daily breakfast to needy school children, by extending their support to provide nutritious breakfast to six rural schools in Chikkaballapur district.

A year back, the Annapoorna team met them the first time and introduced them to the flagship Annapoorna Breakfast Programme which was then benefitting needy school children across 150 schools.

During the meeting, they encouraged Annapoorna to address the malnutrition challenge at more rural schools.  In today's meeting, Annapoorna shared its joy by informing them of the big leap in Annapoorna's current outreach to over 1500 schools.  Further, Annapoorna explained about its holistic approach of including multiple aspects in the areas of nutrition, healthcare, potable water and sanitation for government schools and villages.
