In the month of January, 2021 around 5000 patients were treated which also included providing nutrition to children.
The Mobile Health team during the entire month came across several referrals post on ground screening , few of which have been quite heart wrenching . A three year girl child with sideroblastic anaemia in the camp at Ganthipur, North 24 Parganas West Bengal and another young girl with critical gynaecological complication at Mathurapur, South 24 Parganas West Bengal were supported by our team for their treatment.
Telemedicine gained more momentum with the rise in need to monitor and support the NCD patients . With addition of newly detected hypertensive and diabetic patients, the percentage of patients who belonged to above category rose to 48% of total consultations offered this month ! As a part of Care Continuum , Medicines for a month have been offered to all chronic patients.
Nutrition in the form of Sai Sure and Milk Powder with BMI Monitoring have been offered to Rural Children as a continuous effort as the most important factor during the current times
