Sri B. N. Narasimha Murthy, Chief Mentor of Sri Sathya Sai Loka Seva Group of Institutions, said in his speech that, according to Baba, the one-point solution for all the turmoil, conflict and violence in the world, is to provide children with the right kind of education. This could happen only by the joint efforts of the government, social welfare organisations and all other stakeholders, including parents and academicians. He emphasised that it was the birthright of every child to get equal opportunities in education, nutrition and healthcare, and only this could help in creating an ideal human society.

This was followed by Bhagawan’s divine discourse. He emphasised the importance of taking care of all aspects of a child’s upbringing. He said that the welfare of the child was not the responsibility of parents alone, but of the society as a whole. Nature has bountifully bestowed its resources for all beings in equal measure. But it is human beings who are fragmenting the society because of their greed, arising from the feeling of ‘I’ and ‘Mine’. He exhorted everyone to become selfless and to come forward to serve their fellow human beings. He also declared emphatically that ‘no child should go to school hungry ever’.  He stressed again ‘ever’. 

Bhagawan’s divine discourse was followed by the Mangala Arati and with that the grand celebration of the fifth-year anniversary of Annapoorna Breakfast Programme came to a close.
