July 7 and 8, 2020: Grocery kits distribution in Ramamurthy Nagar, Bengaluru
Annapoorna volunteers distributed grocery kits to the parents of children studying in Annapoorna beneficiary schools in Ramamurthy Nagar in Bengaluru, namely Kowdenahalli and Anandpura schools over two days – July 7 and 8, 2020.
Additionally, volunteers also distributed groceries for an old age home and about 45 days of groceries to a needy family near Baglur Cross Road.

Annapoorna volunteers in Ramamurthy Nagar, Bengaluru received a request from Sri Sai Seva orphanage, Srirangapatnam for providing groceries. The orphanage is home to 30 children. Volunteers immediately arranged for one month's groceries to be provided to the orphanage.
Tubharahalli - Bangalore, Karnataka
July 13, 2020: Grocery kits and sweaters for 20 families in Tubharahalli slums
During the lockdown months, Annapoorna team has provided two rounds of grocery kits to 125 and 180 needy families respectively residing at Tubharahalli slums near Whitefield in Bengaluru.
On July 13, 2020, the team distributed one more round of grocery kits to 20 needy, migrant labourer families. These families belong to children studying at Tubharahalli Government School which is a beneficiary of Annapoorna breakfast programme.
46 children were provided with sweaters, so that they can keep themselves warm during the ongoing monsoon season.
The grocery kits contained the following:
Rice (10 kg) ,
Ragi (5 kg) ,
Toor dal (1 kg) ,
Sunflower oil (1 l) ,
Salt (1 kg) ,
Sugar (1 kg) , and
Avalakki (flattened rice) (2 kg).
While providing for these 20 families, the team surveyed and noted the need to support another 200 families.
