The Annapoorna team in Vizianagaram in Andhra Pradesh State visited a 'Home for the Elderly' in the S. Kota area. The residents at the home were given one month’s supply of daily essentials including sanitation kits, blankets, fruits and such. Quoting a volunteer's joy he experienced in giving: "Heartful of Love and Handful of Fruits. Feeling blessed to interact with 'grandparents'!"

As a part of their fifth phase of grocery distribution for needy families, on September 11, 2020, the Vizianagaram Annapoorna team reached out to 45 families across three villages. Each family received broken rice, wheat flour, oil, lentils, sugar and salt.
