Monitoring of NCDS
With focus on NCD Screenings in Rural India, there have been consistent efforts in monitoring and regular follow ups for Hypertension and Diabetes in periodic frequency; penetrating deep into every rural household with initiatives of capacity building of community health workers who will be the first point of help in their own village.
Every Month more than 6,000 chronic patients are screened and monitored.
Telemedicine / Cardiac Surgery
Sri Sathya Sai Aarogya Vahini is focused in creating access for quality Healthcare and establishing network for Tertiary care support, post Primary Screenings and Detection with its Outreach Model! Children from Dhanbad and South 24 Parganas, West Bengal with Paediatric Cardiac Symptoms came to the Telemedicine setup at Kolkata for a Teleconferencing session with Dr Yogesh from Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital in Palwal for Tertiary Cardiac Support. The child was screened by a Paediatric Consultant of Sri Sathya Sai Amrutham Kolkata to rule out Symptoms of Down Syndrome.
Both children plan to visit Sanjeevani Hospital for their procedure! As always all services rendered were totally free of cost!

Baby Ankit with Cardiac complaints travelled all the way from Dhanbad. Post primary screenings and detection at Sri Sathya Sai Amrutham Kolkata with complete support, the child was later connected through Tele-Conferencing with Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani, Palwal where a host of doctors and paramedics addressed the need with love and compassion!
After a successful ASD closure Ankit will now return home soon with his parents and with renewed hopes! As always all services were rendered completely free of cost

Leap Year brings joy in leaps and bounds to all! 29 Cataract Surgeries were facilitated on February 29, 2020. As always all services were rendered completely free of cost. During the month, 58 Cataract Surgeries were facilitated with complete logistic support, medicines and eye drops, investigative support and new spectacles post follow up.

Health Screening in Jamshedpur Jharkhand
Sri Sathya Sai Aarogya Vahini organised Health Screenings for students at Santhal Basti Government School Jharkhand along with some adults. This was supported by the Doctors of the PHC of East Singhbhum District Jharkhand for General, Opthalmic and Dental Symptoms. Children were offered kits for oral hygiene much to their delight!
Robust Outreach Mobile Health Model
With a robust outreach mobile health model, 36 camps were conducted with 3,323 consultations for 1,334 hypertension and 1,334 diabetes screenings; 58 cataract surgeries were supported with 390 pathological investigations, 3,300 patients were supported with monthly medicines and one-to- one counselling. The health screenings also included Opthalmic, Dental, Oncological and Cardiac screenings with those for General Symptoms as well. These screenings were brought to 22 different locations in West Bengal, Jharkhand and Assam.
The Team is gearing up to commence services in the city of Guwahati, Assam in the month of March, 2020. All services will be rendered completed free of cost!
