5,000 Annapoorna breakfast children’s parents in Prakasam District supported with groceries – Week 1:

Annapoorna serves breakfast daily to needy children studying in a large number of rural government schools in Prakasam District in Andhra Pradesh State. Since the schools are currently shut down due to current nationwide lockdown in order to fight COVID-19, the children from needy families, will not be able to have breakfast and may stay hungry all day due to their family conditions.

In order to ensure that the needy children do not remain hungry, Annapoorna volunteers have distributed ration items to the parents of the children associated with those schools. Thus, about 5,000 needy children studying across 100 schools in Prakasam District will be benefitted. This will support them in their daily needs during this crucial time of lockdown.
