As #IndiaFightsCorona, Annapoorna volunteers in the city of Dehradun, Uttarakhand State took note of some needy pockets in the city which would need help during the nationwide lockdown. Thus, the volunteers reached out to many needy families and distributed various essential groceries.
Needy families in Dehradun were provided with essential groceries – Week 2:
After providing essential groceries to needy people last week, the volunteers reached out to more needy people living in hutments. These people depend on daily wages and are currently unable to make their ends meet. The volunteers cook and provide them with meals.
In other pockets, volunteers have distributed groceries to other needy families that were identified.
