April 23, 2020: Relief Activities in Jorhat, Assam

​

The Annapoorna team in Jorhat in Assam had reached out to 11 needy families with groceries. The team identified another 17 needy families and provided them with grocery relief kits. 

​

Such families were chosen where most of them were unable to avail of Government relief due to lack of ration cards. A few others were chosen owing to other factors such as an earning member being terminally ill or the family being run by a single mother with children.
