Seva in Kazakhstan

Finally, a meeting of Seva volunteers with supported families was organised. Although they have kept in touch with each other through messengers during the quarantine, everyone missed the face to face communication.

This was a second meeting after the quarantine. Volunteers realised how strong their friends are and that they can withstand everything with honor and dignity even though it is not an easy time for them; they are strong in spirit! Everyone was in a happy and optimistic mood.

The volunteers were particularly pleased with the children who seemed to have grown up both physically and spiritually. Their love for their mothers and everyone was so touching. They ran to meet the volunteers with open arms and happy smiles and filled everyone with love and inspiration. After conversations with each family, basic necessities such as food and hygiene products were distributed.

Transformation Article

Every meeting with supported families inspires and transforms us. Their children teach us sincerity and purity. Moreover, they teach us to live in the present and enjoy every moment.

Through Seva activities we have become more compassionate, caring and selfless. Moreover, we feel unity amongst us and the families whom we support. Seeing the smiles on their faces makes us happy and inspires us to engage more in Seva activities.

By following Swami’s teachings of “Love All, Serve All” and “Help Ever, Hurt Never” we have transformed and become closer to God.
