On Sundays, the Sai youth from Kazakhstan distributed meals to needy in Almaty city. In the month of November, close to 155 meals which included sandwiches, sweets, cookies and tea were served to the needy individuals.
During each and every sevā session, the Sai youth had a rewarding time drawing inspiration from their beneficiaries themselves. One such example is a woman named Valentina, who staunchly believes in God and remains faithful despite facing enormous difficulties in her life. She remains hopeful and continues singing cheerfully complementing her songs with graceful gestures and dance steps. Some of her renditions deserve special mention. The inspiring lines in those lyrics - ‘We need to go to the Light’, ‘Life is given to a person to help others’, ‘People are still sleeping, but soon there is an amazing time of transition...I was beaten, I was spat at, but I don't stop singing’, etc., instilled immense courage and new zeal in the hearts of Sai youth.
Supporting Single Mothers
In November, the Sai youth from Kazakhstan also engaged themselves to assist single parent families, primarily single mothers and widowed mothers, who are raising children. Basic necessities such as food and hygiene products were distributed.
