Home Visit - Medicare

Home visit is a Medicare program tagged along with the Sociocare programme. A team of doctors and youths get together to provide medical attention for needy patients while attending to Sociocare issues. These patients struggle to go to the hospital due to physical disability, mental disability or poor economic conditions. They are left to a slow death if not attended to.
At the moment this is done within a10 km radius of Sai Ananda, Malaysia. These patients are visited every Wednesday and Sunday. The youth bring food along with necessary medication and other needed items such as diapers and glucose strips, taking the patients to the hospital for medical follow up. The youths even assist needy patients by transporting them to the hospital and back for medical follow ups.
