Service activities in Mexico during the month of November 202

In the city of Chihuahua and the rest of the country, restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic have continued, but they have not been an obstacle for the teamwork to continue with service activities!

Food  Serving Seva

Serving hot meals in the dining hall is still prohibited and delivering Tortas and Sampa has been suspended due to the enormous increase in COVID-19 infections. Testing continues to obtain the best nutritional formula for the Sampa.

Devtional Musical Seva

The month of November saw the conclusion of the editing of video and audio for the International Chorus from Mexico with popular Mexican and Latin American songs. Nine melodies in three segments were offered to Swami for His 95th Birthday. This was filmed and recorded in two parts, the first in the City of Chihuahua, the second in five cities participating from Mexico: San José del Cabo, Mexico City, Guadalajara, Huamantla and Pachuca, as well as from five Latin American countries:  El Salvador, Guatemala, Colombia, Chile and Argentina.

On Tuesday, November 17, 2020, Professor Ana held a final reunion on zoom to celebrate the conclusion of the Musical Offering which had been lovingly prepared for Swami. The team, made up of families from six countries and six cities in Mexico with more than fifty people, including musicians, singers and staff, enjoyed the presentation.

With immense gratitude and love they share the link below for the video of the Musical Offering on YouTube:

Study Circles

Study Circles continue to be held weekly. As of November 29, 2020, Divine Discourses have been studied, including 25 episodes from Master the Mind series. Study Circles in Guadalajara, Tlaxcala and Mexico City have also continued to meet weekly.

Education Seva

The first edition of the translation from English to Spanish of “Education in Human Values for Teachers” by Suwanti and Ron Farmer was offered to Swami at His 95th Birthday celebration by Mexican devotees.

The conclusion of the translation to Spanish of “Conscientious Paternity” also written by Ron and Suwanti Farmer was offered to Swami during the celebration in Mexico of Swami’s 95th Birthday.

Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s 95th Birthday was celebrated on zoom in Mexico on November 21, 2020 with devotees participating from various cities in the country and several Latin American devotees.  Bhajans were sung and one of Swami’s discourses was read. His Birthday Cake was cut after the traditional mañanitas (Happy Birthday) was sung.

November 22, 2020, the 95th Birthday was celebrated by the Latin American Institute EVH where each country presented their Service Offering in different areas, including two of the three segments recorded by the Mexico International Choir.
