MIDDLE EAST YOUTH ACTIVITIES FOR THE MONTH OF JULY 2017
The youth of Middle East embarked on a unique pilgrimage in the holy month of Ramadan to the Divine abode of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba situated in Sathya Sai Grama, Muddenahalli. It was a Divine call that made the whole group of youth arrive in Muddenahalli for Guru Poornima celebrations, to offer their gratitude to the One who continues to inspire them on the path of selfless service.
As most of the youth were on their annual vacation in India, the regular weekly Seva activities were put on hold for the month of July 2017. They are so immersed in the sweet love of their beloved Master – Sri Sathya Sai Baba, and during their divine pilgrimage to Sathya Sai Grama (Muddenahalli), they were determined to resume the Seva activities with even more vigour for, it’s only in the happiness of others, that they seek their own true happiness.
The absence of the majority of the youth did not deter other volunteers from engaging in acts of selfless love making a difference to the immediate society around. Some of the alumni of Sri Sathya Sai Educational Institutions continued to engage economically disadvantaged working women with a special interactive session on personal hygiene and wellness. A noteworthy part was that the alumni have been distributing toiletries, dry ration, vegetables, and such every week for free as a token of their love.
These women eagerly look forward for the arrival of this group of alumni every month. Interacting with their newly-made friends, they find solace and have started to feel that someone is caring for them without any expectations – love for loves sake!
