Blood Drive and Hygiene Kits Preparation at Region Four Youth meeting
June 25, 2018 was a milestone day for the Youth in Region Four. It was the first Region Four Youth meet in the Divine Presence of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba in San Jose, California, USA. Youth from USA, Canada, Argentina and Brazil came together to participate in this meet. The venue was Immanuel Lutheran Church, located in the heart of the city of San Jose.
The day was packed with events for the Youth, as directed by Bhagawan. The day started off with all the youth participating in a study circle “I to We to He”. The study circle had group discussions, presentations and activities which were presented later to Bhagawan during the youth event in the afternoon.
Hands that help are holier than lips that pray – the youth of Region Four displayed that by participating in hygiene-kit preparation to be distributed for the homeless in the neighborhood and blood bank drive through Stanford Medical Center. A staggering count of 500 hygiene kits were made that day and each kit contained

Soap

Toothpaste and toothbrush

Band aids
-
Moisturizer and Chapstick.
All the kits were neatly packed in a zip-lock bag. The Sai Ashraya volunteers have identified locations where these kits will be distributed in the weeks to come.
Latter part of the day featured a magnificent booth convention, showcasing the projects initiated by Bhagawan in Region Four: Sai Ashraya which is also known as Street Two Stability, One World One Sai, Love and Peace Radio, People Shores, Sai Global Mission and Center for Human Development. These booths highlighted the service being undertaken in different spheres in Region Four. Event attendees and newcomers had the opportunity to get a deep insight into these various projects and interact with volunteers and coordinators. The convention had representatives from leading corporations and non-profit organizations who shared similar goals and ideals of ‘Service to Man is Service to God’.
The Beloved Lord then graced the event with His entourage, granting Bliss to all the attendees with His Love and Divine Presence. Bhagawan, after being received with due honors visited every booth at the convention. He graciously interacted with volunteers in every booth discussing the relevant projects, granting His Divine guidance and invaluable insights on the next steps. He guided the youth to be role models to others and to spread love and values among youth in schools and colleges, to bring about a cultural transformation. He further guided the youth on being ideal leaders. The glorious day ended with Bhagawan granting His immense blessings, leaving everyone enthralled and spiritually motivated to participate in His Divine Mission!
