Seva Collaborations in the Region 4
The youth of Region 4 were preparing for the youth event with Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, a two day youth retreat that was to be held on 16-17th June in the “Center for Human Development” in Carlisle near Boston, MA. The youth had organized a Seva activity in Boston on June 15, 2019 as a part of youth meet activity. What a wonderful opportunity for the Region 4 youth to come together to do Seva just before the Regional youth meet, blessed by Bhagawan! Youth volunteers were from seven countries and from 13 different states in the USA. There were two different sets of kits packed by the youth of Region 4.
Female youth team packed newborn kits with utmost love for the upcoming Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Medical Centre inaugurated by Bhagawan in Clarksdale, Mississippi a few days after the youth meet. A total of fifty-four newborn kits were packed, each of which contained baby care products, baby wipes, diapers, newborn clothes, socks, cap, pacifiers and receiving blanket. The newborn kits are primarily for the nursing mothers and pregnant ladies who cannot afford to care for their newborn and would be treated in the clinic in Clarksdale. The kits were successfully delivered to the clinic in Clarksdale prior to its inauguration. A medical center without a billing counter is not heard of anywhere in the United States of America. Initially this is going to be a care center for pregnant ladies, children and nursing mothers which would later become an advanced health care centre with multiple specialties.
Male youth team packed 108 hygiene kits for the homeless in the Boston area. Each kit contained toothbrush, toothpaste, socks, wet wipes, lotion, travel soap, chapstick, comb, breakfast bars along with an inspirational card personally written by the youth to encourage their homeless friends.
All the kits were made with love and all the youth united together in creating the same. The youth placed the kits in front of Bhagawan’s altar and got His blessings. The next day was the start of the two day retreat with Bhagawan himself which was an extremely beautiful program with so many miracles and stories of love.
