Seva Collaborations in the Bay Area

Guided by HIS Mission to feed the hungry, the USA Young Adults (YA) have joined hands with other non-profit organisations in the community, such as Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) and 4Others and took up a task to pack meals (uncooked rice, soy, veggies and vitamins) that will be shipped to reach hundreds of hungry children around the globe via FMSC’s network of distributors!

Calling themselves ‘1YOUTH’ with the slogan “United We Serve”, the USA YAs roped in more than 100 volunteers for this event that was hosted in San Jose, California on May 18 and 19, 2019. They worked tirelessly for two days along with other volunteers to pack a whopping 163,296 meals that will feed 447 kids for an entire year!

By HIS inspiration, 1Youth USA plans to partner with more organisations to conduct more such events in various parts of the county and turn HUNGER into HOPE. They seek HIS blessings and are ever THANKFUL to HIM for being their GUIDING LIGHT!
