Food Service
The youth of Region 4 served 1,000+ meals in spite of regular monthly service activity being suspended in many States due to COVID-19. The youth served food not only on the streets but also gave groceries and essentials to shelters like HomeFirst, Salvation Army and LifeMoves.
Master the Mind
The Divine Master, always does what is necessary and beneficial for His children; He delivered the beautiful Master the Mind series.
The series encouraged the youths of Region 4 to make a commitment to meditate daily for 20 minutes, per Bhagawan’s instructions, listen to a Master the Mind discourse each day. The youth started inviting guest speakers to address the youth each Saturday and to answer their questions related to the subject of meditation.
The Divine Master began sending one Divine instrument after another to meet with them. Names such as David Cornsweet, Murali Vullaganti, Victory Craxi, and Isaac Tigrett represent a few that would be familiar to Sai devotees.
Winter Clothing Distribution
On November 22, 2020, the eve of Bhagawan’s 95th Birthday, the Bay Area youth coordinated a winter drive in San Francisco and surrounding areas. Bay Area witnessed a sudden drop in temperature with winter approaching and many homeless did not have proper shelter and winter-wear to keep themselves warm.
To address this issue, Bay Area youth started a winter drive. The following items were distributed: jackets, hoodies, blankets, socks along with food and other snacks such as juices, dry fruits, cookies and more.
This served close to 60 families. Many adults and youths from other parts of the USA lent their support towards this cause.
