A Very Special Day

The youth joined hands with a charitable organisation to celebrate Children’s Day with the students at Harvard School in Pettah. Already having made a bond with the youth during their numerous visits throughout the years, the children were very enthusiastic to see them again. A face paint station was set up much to the extreme delight of the children, who rushed to transform into their favourite superheroes. Then all the 70 students gathered together to have a little dance party and sing-along with some of the youth. Afterwards, the children were awe-struck by a magic show which was specially put together for them. Gifts of drawing books, stationary packs and such were then lovingly distributed. The day ended on a happy note as the tiny tots dove into their special lunch: pizza and cupcakes! It was truly a beautiful experience and the love that filled the air was remarkably palpable!
