A group of youth from Colombo decided to wrap up 2017 with an act of love and thus began to organise a programme for the distribution of stationery to 50 children in the National Cancer Institute in Maharagama. Together they made 50 packs containing basic stationery items such as pens, pencils, erasers, rulers, books, colour pencils, chalk boxes, scissors, and gum.

It was truly heartwarming to see the shy smiles on the faces of these children, as they accepted the beautifully wrapped gifts and softly expressed their gratitude. They served as an inspiration to each and every individual present, to be grateful for the opportunity given to serve and to face life with a beaming smile despite all the adversities that may

come.
