Selfless Seva Trust Of Istanbul
Selfless Seva Trust of Istanbul, Turkey, has continued to do Seva activities between August 31, 2020 and October 4, 2020; many people were visited and provided with the following services:
On Mondays and Wednesdays food was cooked regularly throughout the month and delivered to several homes in need at the following districts:

1,000 meals in Sisli Region

450 meals in Pendik Region

800 meals in Ömerli Region

760 meals in Uskumruköy Region

The youth have also continued with the Narayana Seva individually as per Swami’s dictum, ‘Let no one go to sleep hungry’.

1,908 meals delivered individually.

Necessary medical supplies were provided to the people with ailments in the Sisli, Istanbul Region.

The house-rent for two homes and the utility fees such as electricity, water for 10 homes were paid.

Every day, in two districts of Istanbul – Zekeriyaköy Region and Fenerbahçe Region – dogs, cats, birds and sometimes horses are provided with food, water and medical care. When encountered, all kinds of animals in need are provided with the necessary help.

Istanbul Municipality has started a new online aid campaign, wherein those who cannot afford to pay their bills during the pandemic period can leave their utility bills on the website, and those who are able to pay can help them by paying their bills anonymously. Secondly, apart from their utility bills, those who wish can also send some amount of money as ‘family aid’ to the families in need. This month, two families were given family aid and three bills were paid for those people in need
