On December 5, the Sai youth from Bay Area distributed blankets and veggie sandwiches to the needy and the homeless. The sevā was the made possible by the efforts of few elementary school students. Practising 'Ceiling on desires', the youth sold lemonade during the summer and saved the proceeds to buy the blankets and helped make the sandwiches.  The lunch bags consisted of juice, bananas, granola bars also.

Blankets, at the start of winter season, were a boon to the needy and they were very appreciative of youth efforts. The distribution was done in downtown San Jose and Santa Clara area.
